So thankful for our AMAZING drivers for getting kids to and from school safely! Also a huge shout out to our maintenance and grounds crew that shoveled and plowed so kids could get in the building. We are SO lucky!!

I had the best surprise last week when I did my good morning rounds in classrooms! Learning leaders were at work with their Kinder buddies. ♥️ These students and teachers organizing are amazing!

SO many smiles to start the year!!

I am blown away by the leadership and work that was put in to make our first 8 days of Kindergarten SO successful. A focus on play and social emotional learning was an incredible way to start the year! ♥️

Sprout council student leaders led by teacher leaders. They broke off into groups that mirror teacher committees. I can’t wait to see impact they will make this year. There are already some amazing things in the works.

Deep conversations about academic vocabulary that is used in a standard. They had the literacy framework up and analyzed all the way up to grades 3 & 4. Such powerful conversations to impact student learning.

Amazing PD by @CoaChalos on Metacognition and visible learning! Our teachers are amazing for always wanting to expand their knowledge. ♥️

Fun Run kick off last night! So many skills and lots of memories made!

And that’s a wrap! Lots of learning in the 23-24 year! I’m SO proud of all our staff and students!

So proud of our Hickory graduates!! It was so neat celebrating them this afternoon. They still remember the school song!

We are so appreciative of our central office staff that are always at our buildings and come to celebrate the kids with us! Thank you @AldayCarrie1 for making a difference!

I’m SO thankful for all the hard work @tiffwalt44 put in to make field day a success! It was amazing day that was so organized and allowed our kiddos to make some amazing memories! I’m also thankful for the entire team and parents that made the day happen!

Love, love, loved getting to celebrate all the hard work teachers have put in this year by making pancakes for them! I am so proud of them!

PK graduation for this kiddo today! Time is going to fast! GPCDM has been such a blessing to our family helping Carson grow in his faith and as a student! ♥️
