Our April Hero of the Month honorees are Jennifer Coffey & Katie Mosley. They jump in & help with a smile doing whatever is needed. Before spring break both stepped in, learned on the go and served over 120 families meat, milk & eggs that week. Thank you Jennifer and Katie!

Katie Hersam is a March Hero of the Month. Katie regular picks up milk at Gleaners for us. She has also organized groups to pack hygiene bags and donate birthday bags. Thank you Katie for always being available to help out!

In December CMH builders supplied winter break boxes to go home with each of our families. They were true heroes and honored as December Heroes of the Month!

It was a Duke Energy Day of Service to honor Dr. MLK. Volunteers worked at pantries served by the Hendricks Co Food Pantry Coalition. The numbers served by food pantries are increasing. @DukeEnergy #weareDE

Volunteers from @DukeEnergy and the Scott Family volunteeted this morning in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. They cleaned out refrigeration units, painted trim, sorted products and stocked shelves. Thankful for such a supportive community as we remember Dr. King’s legacy.

We will be at the pantry Wednesday 3:30-5pm and anytime after 3 on Thursday. Feel free to drop at door #13 at AIS East during these two times. Or they may be dropped at the cart just inside the ACSC office doors during regular business hours. We will pick up there at 3pm on Thurs.

We would like to give out laundry soap to all families this Thursday, and we need a few more bottles to make sure we have enough for everyone to get one! If you are able to help, we would appreciate it.

@avonadvocates also spent time today visiting @MLMaierPantry & learning how they are keeping our students & families fed. Mrs. Kerr’s passion for serving our community comes thru every time I hear her speak. Thanks for all you do!

The HSS Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh collected food during their Diwali celebration and delivered it to the pantry Friday evening. Such a wonderful group who stocked us up with over 2000lbs of food to share with our families. Thank you so much for this generous donation.
