EYFS have loved our weekly balanceability lessons. The children are getting more confident on the balance bikes 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️ @WygateA .#REACH

Donaldson class had a great day at @Sacrewell farm. We gave the animals vegetable kebabs, had a ride on a tractor and enjoyed the outdoor spaces on the farm 🐷🐑🐐.I am very proud of their behaviour, well done for showing the #WygateWay throughout the day 🤩🤩 @WygateA

We had a lovely morning in EYFS planting sunflower seeds 🌻🌻 The children are excited to watch them grow @WygateA

To celebrate #BritishScienceWeek EYFS have been thinking about how to look after the animals in the ocean. We talked about plastic pollution in the water and how we could reduce the amount of plastic we use. We then practised yoga, pretending to be sea creatures @WygateA

This week in Donaldson class we have been reading Handa's Surprise. Today the class tried a selection of fruit from the story including pineapple, mango and orange 🍊🍍🥝🥭 @WygateA

Today we have had a great day celebrating #worldbookday2025. @MissThompsonWA shared her favourite book, Dahl class shared their story narratives then in the afternoon we read in the sunshine with Y3 and made bookmarks with Y2 @MrRGALLEN @MrLeggettWA @WygateA

To celebrate pancake day, the children in Donaldson class enjoyed pancakes for their snack. We then looked at adjectives to describe the taste, look and feel of them. 🥞😋 .@WygateA

Thank you @SpaldingFire for taking the time to come and talk to the children today. It was so exciting to see the fire engine 🚒 but we also learnt some very important fire safety rules. What a great end to the term. @WygateA

This morning we enjoyed another exciting visitor 🤩 A local midwife came and spoke to the children about how she looks after new born babies 👶 She then showed the children the equipment she uses @WygateA
