On 16 October we host our Y11 Securing Success Evening, which includes: A presentation from leaders about Y11. A session on effective revision strategies. Every student receiving a bespoke set of revision materials worth over £100. Opportunity to speak to post 16, SEND, and WMIM.

70 books collected so far this summer ready to give away in our annual 'Breakfast with Santa.' Hoping to reach 200 children in the local community this year with our event!

Parents of Key Stage 4 students. If your child is starting in Y10 or Y11 in September, you will receive a letter in the post this week including a flyer with all of the key dates for the next 12 months. Be prepared and add this to your fridge/calendar and save these key dates.

Year 10 Careers Day. Today we held our annual careers day for Y10. The day has been fantastic with guests from @GoSwimstarsCom, @RoyalAirForce, @EE, @PolypipeTrade and Caged Steel. Students also took part in some activities with @springpod and a team building activity. #achieve26

Our Sewing Elective responded to an appeal from the @RHCC_Charity for help creating bonding hearts — fabric heart-shaped items used in Neonatal Intensive Care Units. The students lovingly created a batch of bonding hearts and delivered them today. We are so proud of them. 💙

An extremely busy last week for our Year 10s. Every second being utilised and making the most of the last week with some important key events in their KS4 journey. Keeping attendance and investment high until Friday. #achieve26
Year 10! After a busy three weeks with trial exams and work experience we have one week left. During this week you will have your careers day where you will meet your new y11 tutor and tutor group. You also have your trial exams results assembly on Friday! See you all tomorrow.

Over the course of this week we have had over 200 young people from our academy working in sectors such as: Education, Health Care, National Politics, Hospitality and Catering, Civil Engineering and much more. We are so proud of each and every one of them. 💙 #teamstwa
