The very good VCs are very good indeed. The average are not. This is why I struggle with 'retail investors should have an allocation to VC'. You don't really want VC beta (which is almost certainly what you'll get access to).
Completely agree. What makes it more impressive is when you compare the outlier performance to fund size. Other firms might have similar volume of winners, but accompanied by much larger fund sizes (and worse returns for LPs).

Fascinating. Curious how much the LEGO x Fortnite game was top of funnel for this in some way.
One of the biggest growth drivers at Discord over the last year has been the elevation of "Login with your LEGO Account.". Incredible how much of Gen Z and Gen Alpha associate their core identity with their LEGO account. Wish we had done this sooner.

I would bet my entire net worth that:. 1. We will have ads in AI.2. If they take the form of highly-relevant offers, users will welcome them, they’ll have sky-high conversion rate, and Web shopping will die.3. They will be necessary to pay for the compute in many consumer AI apps.
