Over the years I've realised that @seanblanchfield has an uncanny knack to be building exactly the right thing at the right moment, mostly because he started when everyone else didn't get it.
Today’s pod ep — a journey through the life of Sean Blanchfield, one of Ireland’s most interesting and recurring tech entrepreneurs. Phorest, Demonware (with @MrDylanCollins) and now Jentic. Also, AI’s impact on jobs, our lives and the state of society https://t.co/ntliJ44UiB

Also, you can actually maybe buy a short position in this story because there’s a publicly listed fund which owns a chunk of one of the acquired companies. Haven’t looked deeply at their NAV calcs
This story just keeps getting better. To re-cap: -buys a bunch of companies at silly prices but for paper -announces they've raised $3b from mystery investor -announces the investor who in turn counter-announces they're not the investor -rebrands as Napster -claims they are

This would be both awesome and instantly banned by the UK for contravening its directive on not having any heating/cooling technology that is superior to Victorian times.
Actually, a whole home networked heat pump system would be awesome. Kinda of like the heat router system that's in the Tesla Model 3, but applied for residential comfort and efficiency.
