Each year, the head coaches from all of our sports gather to elect a member of that year’s senior class to be recognized for athletics. The Mount Michael Athlete of the Year Award was established in 1978 and since then 51 individuals have been selected to this prestigious group.

A long year of studying and testing ended with our state champion Academic Decathlon team competing at nationals this week. These young men finished third in Division III (small schools). Congratulations, Knights!

With the help of our coaching staff, we have been fortunate enough to allow for our student athletes to come out for summer conditioning to prepare for the Fall season. Our students have done a great job following the guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy workout environment.
Congratulations to Coach Spooner as he moves into our Dean of Students position next year! While he will remain our Activities Director, we are looking for a new Head Basketball Coach to keep that program moving forward.
Here are some highlights from last night’s B-4 subdistrict basketball game! The Knights will host Sidney this coming Saturday at 1pm for the District Final and an opportunity to go to the state tournament!

Each year the OWH asks Omaha school counselors to contact students who have an SAT score of 1390 or higher or an ACT score of 32 or higher. These students must fill out an extensive application that includes all their classes, grades, and service.
