This is weird for a few reasons. It's not "Americans" doing anything to Canada, it's their government. And the descriptor choices seem ill chosen. Someone should ask Americans: How do you feel paying billions more to the government but no one is calling it a tax increase?

The real "conversion therapy" is telling gay kids that their gender-nonconformity requires risky and irreversible medical treatments. Leave kids alone.
@SophieMolly_OFF We're not JUST the scapegoat - TERFs are trying to use the anti-trans propaganda to bring back conversion therapy. Conservatives want a legal avenue to abuse their queer children and they are trying to use transphobia to get it. These people are abusers and they are a danger.
