The skull of a Congolese leader, killed by colonial troops, has been stored in a Brussels museum for decades. We wrote about the struggle to get it back -- reflecting a larger debate on Europe’s responsibility for the colonial atrocities. w/@koba_ryck https://t.co/RkoyOWhDVL

For decades, Belgium failed to return the remains of hundreds of people taken by force from former colonies. A draft law could change that, but critics say it is not going far enough.

A huge thanks to everyone who came out to #RunForEvan in Brussels this morning. Evan Gershkovich is a journalist who was detained almost one year ago in Russia — simply for doing his job. #IStandWithEvan #FreeEvan #IRunForEvan #JournalismIsNotACrime

#Gaza The human suffering is shocking. Thousands killed. People have limited access to food & water. Hospitals are near collapse. Hospital corridors are full of wounded & displaced. Destroyed infrastructure & homes will take years to rebuild. ❌ Even wars have limits.
