People saying this design isn't animation friendly have never animated in their life. Curly hair and braids are literally easier to animate than straight hair.
i dont often get into the HH discourse but i figured id do a take on this design. its very possible to give a character an unnatural skintone and still code them as a certain race, the original design isnt bad but it fails to effectively communicate that to the audience
