@ModusPwnin How do you handle the UV mapping? Do you use something like Sprytile, or do you do it all manually?

@NatSpectrum I do it manually! I'll usually start by doing a top down projection of the base texture (grass here) and then add from there. You can make quads pretty easily by dissolving edges. That's how I set up the paths with the grassy edges.

@FeldFour It's much easier to get organic looking shapes with a hex grid. Even with minimal tweaking I find the environment to feel much less rigid than one made from quads.

@TerraDev64 I learned it from Hyrule Field 😁 You have to turn on the "Extra primitives" addon and then the option is called honeycomb when creating a new mesh.
