For people of Jewish faith, Mitzvah Day is a time to meaningfully help others in your community. Thank you, Jewish Londoners, for what you’re doing this Mitzvah Day. It's this generosity of spirit that helps make London the greatest city in the world.
#LondonTogether
Mitzvah Day is a very special day in the Jewish calendar.
And while it’s a Jewish-led day, Londoners of every faith and no faith are encouraged to give their time to social action projects.
Whatever you can do to fill lockdown with kindness, make sure you give it a go.
🟢 // Conservative, Labour and Liberal Democrat MPs wrote Christmas cards and packed bags of warm clothing and toiletries for the homeless in Westminster, as part of a special project held inside the House of Commons in partnership with The Passage Charity.
And we're off! Across the country (and the world), thousands of volunteers are donning green T-shirts and beginning their projects. Be sure to let us know what you're doing and send your pictures!
