It is with a heavy heart to report that Mittens, the beloved train cat, departed her favourite station for the last time at 1645 23 June 2023. Adored and loved by many. Always missed. Run free, my beautiful lady.

Bowling through Batley: 68024 ‘Centaur’ with 5S39 1352 Manchester Picc-Leeds-Longsight passing the diminutive ‘Lady Anne crossing’ on 25.10.2022. There are plans to replace the crossing with a footbridge (presumably with the signalbox being demolished).
