We’ll fight like hell to keep QBs who sexually assault women from getting suspended for too long but when one of the good guys has concussive symptoms, returns to the game, doesn’t enter concussion protocol, and is allowed to play 4 days later, “our investigation is ongoing.”
Player health and safety is at the core of the union's mission. Our concern tonight is for Tua and we hope for a full and speedy recovery. Our investigation into the potential protocol violation is ongoing.
This sucks. Teams are going to start realizing OL is
#2
in team building after finding a QB. Doesn’t matter how many weapons you have if your OL isn’t good, 51 sacks and all the playoff pressure/sacks is NOT sustainable long term.
How can everyone love Kellen Moore and talk about his as a potential HC candidate, and then blame McCarthy for every bad offensive play call. Either it’s McCarthy’s offense, or it’s Moore’s. Can’t pick and choose based on results.
Since he was drafted they’ve traded for Hopkins, signed AJ Green, traded for Zach Ertz, and drafted two 2nd round WRs. Built a very good D, signed Watt. 6th best defense according to DVOA. Maybe they should’ve traded for Davante and Tyreek and Deebo and DK and AJ Brown??
The Watson trade and contract still doesn't feel right to me. Do we have any clarity on the 22 lawsuits against him? From what I've seen, by

especially, the grand jury non-indictment doesn't mean much, and surely doesn't absolve him.
Good thing he didn’t start his own clothing/fitness/lifestyle brand and insist on his personal trainer having privileges in the building no one else gets.
Purdy got concussed 6 days ago. He’s playing already, smacked his head on the ground and immediately grabbed his head, and he stays in the game. Total negligence.
Thanks to the Chiefs for an incredible 5 years. The experience was everything I dreamed it would be and more. The organization, my teammates and coaches, and the best fans in football! My focus is on rehab and recovery – we’ll see what the future holds. Thank you Chiefs Kingdom!
Let me just say this: ANDREW. MF'ING. WYLIE. You guys threw shade at him all year and I said he was way better than you all thought. He just threw a freaking shutout against this vaunted DL after hearing about Reddick for two straight weeks. HUGE congrats to
@RealAndrewWylie
!!!!
This was one of the coolest sequences I've ever been a part of and
@Kevinharlan
captures it perfectly. If you haven't seen the video, watch it with the sound up. It's something I won't ever forget and I'll always have this call to reminisce. Thanks Kevin!
Six-time All-Pro and future Hall-of-Fame center Jason Kelce told his Eagles’ teammates in Monday night’s postgame locker room that he is in fact retiring, per league sources.
The 36-year-old Kelce became visibly emotional at the end of the Eagles’ 32-9 loss to the Buccaneers. He…
Logging off. This fanbase is officially toxic on here and it sucks to deal with. We had how many penalties, drops, turnovers, missed assignments? This is not a good offense right now and we have no one to blame but ourselves for all the mistakes we make, every single week.
Walked into a vintage store just now and was happy to see they had the greatest video game of all time. A ray of sunshine on a dark baseball day, some might say
Stuff like this sucks. If he cuts back there’s not one but two defenders that tackle him immediately for no gain. Now this pic floats around and people mock Clyde over it when all he’s doing is running the play properly according to his reads.
This is absurd. Look at Pat’s deal compared to any other QB, he set it up to take way less money the first few years than all the rest. We kept everyone we wanted and made the Super Bowl. The pandemic dropped the cap by $25-30 million from the projected amount, blame that not Pat
I know I already tweeted this vid but following up. Russ is like a method actor. He’s doing his impression of what he thinks a QB is supposed to do but he’s too far down the rabbit hole of the role he’s playing and can’t find his way back to normalcy. Hilarious for us at least.
KC fans: we’re officially not allowed to complain about anything as long as:
1) Mahomes is healthy
2) It’s November or later
3) We’re leading the AFC West
If those three things are all true then the sky isn’t falling and we have a better than even chance in the playoffs.
I think the Kelce/Reid thing is getting blown out of proportion. Travis’s intent was to get his frustration out and give Coach a nudge. He’s just a strong SOB and caught Coach unaware and made him stumble. He was going for the same nudge to Coach that he gets from him. That’s all
Injury Update: I’m getting surgery today. I was hoping to recover enough to get back for playoffs/Super Bowl but that didn’t happen. It’s time to address the issue. The recovery process isn’t too long, which is nice. Looking forward to a healthy 2021!

Congrats to Cleveland! Enjoyed my 4 years on the team and living in the city. I met my wife there, and have lifelong friends from that time. The city and those fans deserve this, it’s been too long for them!
KC felt like home when we first moved here, and now it’s going to be home forever! We’re so excited to settle down here long term and continue being a part of the KC community!

I like how the MVP debate is like “well if Rodgers wins today he’ll probably win it.” Shouldn’t our guy get credit for winning so much he doesn’t have to play today??
#MVPat
The pregame shenanigans by the Raiders will go down as one of the dumbest moments in this rivalry. Stomp on your opponents logo at midfield while they’re in the locker room, then come out and get SMACKED from literally the first play and totally beat down all game. 48-9 final
And look, miss me with the “but the doctors said it was his back!” “Doctors OK’d him!” He banged his head on the ground, got up, grabbed his head and shook it side to side, then stumbled around and couldn’t walk. MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, put him in concussion protocol for the week?!?
This play by Pacheco on the right side of the screen is one of the most heads up and aware plays you’ll see. Pat is scrambling, Pacheco sees it, and knows his LB is trailing in man coverage. So he actually accelerates to keep running faster and further draws 45 up the field.
For those asking:
Yes, I am in shape. Round is a shape.
Contract demands:
1) Free BBQ in KC for life
2) No weigh ins during the rest of the year
3) Chiefs buy my old house for $500,000 more than market value
4) Private jet privileges for Cupcake and Pumpkin for 5 years
I don’t think that’s a bad thing? I’d rather have it crack and all the energy go with the pieces that fly off rather than the helmet stay solid and put all the force into the head.
After a day to reflect, very proud of this year’s accomplishments. First AFC Championship at Arrowhead. 3 time AFC West Champs. Offensive records set left and right. Disappointing end but many lessons learned. Thank you
#ChiefsKingdom
for the support all year!
For the “keep your head up” and “see what you hit” crowd tell me where this hit would’ve been had he kept going straight. That’s right, head to head. What’s he supposed to do? Stand up and hit him with his chest? No, that’s leaving your feet and launching. Dive at his ankles?
Successful surgery, now the recovery process starts. Thanks to everyone who reached out, messaged, etc today! Means a lot to me. And thanks to my wife Brooke as always for taking care of me!
This is seriously the statement they went with? "We...understand that there have been many individuals triggered throughout this process.” The women he sexually assaulted? The people upset he sexually assaults women? Those who can't believe Cle protected his money despite this?
Was going to root for Cincy because my wife is from Ohio, love Burrow, great story. But Cincy fans make it tough. Tweet something that has nothing to do with em and it’s all “cry harder”, “take this L”, “whine.” I’m excited for this game! Just doesn’t feel like gameday right now.
The field isn’t mutually shared. Each team has one side they can work on. Kickers and punters can use the other side of the field, yes, but Tucker can warm up anywhere. And there’s absolutely zero reason a ball needs to be teed up at the goal line, let alone while stretching.
Never seen another pro athlete act like this, the field is mutually shared by both teams out of respect for one another to get their work in. Looks like Tucker was their first. Don’t like this at all, bad look.
This is how you do it players. Sign 3 year deals and don’t push for fully guaranteed contracts. Drive up the AAV, keep the contract short, and cash in 2-3 years later as the market keeps jumping. He’ll be ready for another deal when he’s 30-31. His 4th deal, not his 3rd. Awesome.
Per Saint Omni,

star LT Laremy Tunsil is once again the highest-paid tackle in NFL history, securing a 3-year deal worth $75M with $50M fully guaranteed and $60M in total guarantees. The blindside protector does a true reset on the market. Tunsil represented himself.
So Chase talks smack during the week, has a mediocre at best game, then clowns on Sneed for having the discipline to not fight during the game?? (because they’d have gotten thrown out) This is a WEIRD mindset to have and I don’t understand it one bit. It’s the NFL not street ball
A portion of what Ja'Marr Chase on his altercation with L'Jarius Sneed:
"M'fer won't fight me....Just trash talking. Can't handle it."
Tee Higgins laughs.

They’re going to revolutionize the game by having him run the ball and catch the ball and maybe block a little too if needed. Can’t wait to witness a new era of football come Thursday night.
We seriously gotta stop with immediate cuts to Taylor Swift after every TD or big play. We get it, famous people are in the building and have a rooting interest in the football teams. That’s never happened in football before and no NFL player has ever dated or married a celeb 🙄
An amazing performance by the entire OL.
And let's give OL Coach Andy Heck his credit. He had everyone one of these OL ready for the challenge and they played their best game this night. He's also responsible for the run game, which was fantastic tonight. Congrats Coach Heck!!
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME??? The state of refereeing is at an all time low right now. I’m not entirely sure why but it’s so bad and it’s bad across the entire league
If the NFL changed the rules and played the AFC Championship Game on a neutral field it would have meant the entire Arrowhead/Burrowhead drama wouldn’t have existed. That brought so much more to the game than what a few extra neutral site dollars could bring. Plz don’t change 🤞
You know what especially sucks about that loss? Sitting on a bus waiting to leave, the bus ride to the airport, waiting for the plane to take off, 3 hour flight, driving home at like 5am tired and pissed off and all that time thinking of the plays you could’ve done better on.
And
@PFF_Brad
just showed me an article saying the team structured the deal to protect Watson’s money should he be suspended. Which is even worse! Going out of your way to protect a guy who might suspended for sexually assaulting or harassing 22+ women? No, don’t like that at all
The only logical conclusion we can make is that
@tkelce
has been holding this offense back. I’d try to get a conditional 6th or 7th round pick for him this offseason and build around
@B_Bell10
and Noah Gray
*cracks knuckles*
1) After 3 seconds the C’s feet are at 5 yards. 4 sec at 7 yards. Plenty of room in the pocket, ball is gone, W.
2) He’s 6’6” 350 and runs 4.78, I’d hope he can bull a small C just a little.
3) Bulls are less effective in games than practice.
4) It’s 1 on 1s
First TD for Pacheco. He goes nuts and throws the ball in excitement. Looks like Pat sprinted into the back of the end zone to secure the ball and make sure Pacheco got his first TD ball, then gave it to him. Really cool to see stuff like that, such a good guy.
Watt gave me fits. The stutter at the contact point was deadly. Couldn’t sit on speed: 300 lbs with power. Couldn’t sit on power: elite first 2 steps + snap count timing to get the edge. Overset and he’s inside. He’d jump around blocks but still make the play. Impossible to block
Not sure why you'd trash talk this Chiefs team leading up to a game against em. After 1 real game of relevance (last year's AFCCG), with the Chiefs having home field and best record. Go win the game and talk all you want but Pat is not someone I'd want to fire up for a full week.
Also, let’s all say it: CONGRATS KELCE!!!
@tkelce
is incredible on the field, great in the locker room, and gives back in the community. He’s what football, and life, is all about. Special guy.

All-Pro OT Penei Sewell has agreed to terms on a four-year, $112 million extension that makes him the new highest-paid offensive lineman in the NFL.

At 22 Lamar won an MVP. In the National Football League. After his age 23 season (where Jayden is now) he was 30-7 as a starter. Let’s stop comparing the two, let alone saying Jayden is better and downgrading what Lamar does.
What are the Commanders getting in Jayden Daniels? “He’s Lamar Jackson-like and he can actually throw progression reads for a living because he’s disciplined enough. He’s the ‘wake up at 5 AM’ guy. Can throw with touch and anticipation. He’s a passer who just happens to be able…
What do you think my answer is going to be? Yea, Pat is great and all and we won a Super Bowl because of him, but I have him third behind Brandon Weeden and Johnny Manziel. Come on
@MitchSchwartz71
You’ve played with a few quarterbacks, how would you rank Patrick? I see these other players leaving and talking up their new QB, is that something they do to try to earn they new QB’s trust?
