🌏 This International Day of Climate Action, Mission Australia is proud to be working towards reaching net zero by 2050 & creating a positive future for the climate. 🌳The community pocket forest at our Benjamin Short Grove aged care home in Orange is part of this commitment.
Thanks to a partnership with The Groundswell Collective & Carbon Positive Australia, Benjamin Short Grove, our aged care home in Orange, is now home to a tiny forest filled with native trees & shrubs. The forest will keep residents cool, connect them to nature & boost wellbeing.

At our 3 aged care homes, food is about more than nutrition. It’s about enjoyment, dignity, and connection. That’s why our chefs are participating in the @mbeerfoundation program and working to enhance the way we provide quality food and meals to our residents.
‘It's the dignity of their lives that we're trying to honour.’ Aged care manager Steve and chef Achmed talk about how the free @mbeerfoundation’s training is helping them lift the standard of food and dining. Watch the full video at💻 https://t.co/eFpj1AMn3t
