She only went won! Our very amazing Amy won the Gary Pedley Community Award at last nights Keighley Town Council Community Awards. Well done Amy, we are so proud. Em 💛

Wellness Wednesday. Wellness Tool is Watching American shows. They are definitely a guilty please but I have to be careful I don't let them consume my every waking hour. I will watch from episode 1, then watch at every opportunity til the final episode. Andrea.

Saturday Sparkle. What’s making your Saturday Sparkle today? For me it’s new jumper day, we’ve been running a WRAP this morning and I’m at the Endless Kettle in Keighley, having a cuppa whilst we finish some work. A wholesome Saturday for us. Em 💛

Today Nick was filmed talking about Missing Peace, where we came from and what we do for the community. A number of our volunteers and people that use our groups were also filmed talking about what they do to support their mental wellbeing #mentalhealth

#WorldMentalHealthDay was a great success! Students, staff and @MissingPeaceWS united to promote wellbeing in the workplace and on campus. Thank you to our Education & Childcare and Health & Social Care students for a delicious bake sale that raised funds for @YoungMindsUK .

Today Nick and Andrea had a stall at Keighley College talking to students about all things mental health. Nick was also the speaker at the event, doing a talk to students about mental health, his experiences and journey, what we do at Missing Peace, WRAP and more. Em 💛

This #WorldMentalHealthDay, I want to pay tribute to all the fantastic local organisations across our area making a real difference to people’s mental health & wellbeing. Today is a timely reminder to us all to take time out to talk & confide in those we trust most.

Huge thanks to @KeighleyABA who for the 2nd year have on the awards night helped us raise money for the Christmas Yay event; for people who are on their own on Christmas Day. This year the evening raised £347. Thank you for the support. Em 💛

What a week last week for WRAPs. 3 new ones started, Mondays in Ilkley, Tuesdays in Keighley and our first Saturday WRAP. All part of Mental Health Connect. Can’t wait to share the next 11 weeks with the attendees on their WRAP journeys. More coming next year too! Em 💛
