Gov. Walz served long enough to retire from the military. He was provisionally promoted to Command Sergeant Major; he pinned on the rank & served in the role. When he retired he hadn’t completed required formal leadership coursework & hadn’t served in the rank for 3 years;

You know what would be nice? If the classical music powers that be would stop protecting rapists and punishing victims and those who standup for them, that’s what.
Another long-overdue #MeToo story is finally told; kudos to @Sammy_Sussman. The first 2 women to land jobs in the @nyphil brass section were denied tenure, one because she was raped by colleagues, the other because she stood up for her.
