Spent a fun but exhausting day @MinesGeophysics learning #GPS/#GNSS & electrical resistivity tomography #ERT in @EarthScope_sci's Teaching Near-surface Geophysics to Undergrads workshop. Kinda cool venturing a bit outside my comfort zone! @emlid #Reach @AdvGeosciences #SuperSting

@coschoolofmines @SteamboatCO @TEMcompany @zross_ Finally, we wrap the #GPfieldcamp presentations with Jim, Lexi, and Tyler presenting their magnetotelluric results showing the conductivity structure of the upper 10ish km across the region. Thank you @EarthScope_sci for the @PhoenixGeoLTD MT instruments!!!

@coschoolofmines @SteamboatCO @TEMcompany Second to last talk looks at microseismicity in the @SteamboatCO area. Chloe, Nathan, and Sam implemented @zross_’s seismic detection algorithm on broadband seismometers we have deployed the last three years. Now to figure out where these signals came from!

@coschoolofmines @SteamboatCO @TEMcompany Kieran and Mia are up to present the almost 13 km of reflection seismic data we collected with 700 nodes in <2 weeks at #GPfieldcamp. New faults, new dip angles, new interpretations of Yampa Valleg history! Thanks to GTI and Dawson Geophysics for the nodes and vibroseis.
