Planned obsolescence isn't a conspiracy theory. It's an intentional industrial design practice to cut costs and keep us buying more shit we don't need.
I always sound like a conspiracy theorist when I say this but things are not built how they used to be, i.e., made to last, made to be functional, etc., because of capitalism.
