My brother is a "small-govt" Republican who rants against socialism. He hasn't worked in 20 years. Lives off Social Security disability. Medicare pays for his many medical treatments. His girlfriend gets $2000 monthly from Social Security to take care of him.

@MikeTango22202 @JerryTurin It's insurance. People don't plan to retire on disability. You get it because you can't work. It's very difficult to get. As the richest country, we damn well better take care of those who can't take care of themselves. The problem is that he is a small gov republican.
