Reform like this doesn’t come quickly or easily. And there is often a hidden cost to those who wield their greatest vulnerability in the face of institutional power. I’m really proud of those who attended this hearing and those who have been in the advocacy trenches long term.
From this day forward, in the great state of Missouri, survivors of childhood sexual abuse and trafficking will no longer be silenced by NDAs. Future NDAs will not be judicially enforceable in a dispute involving childhood sexual abuse and/or trafficking and shall be VOID!
