Bio? Yeah, I enjoyed bio in school. But then I started doing theatre and film acting, writing, directing & such, and I guess I got really sidetracked by that...

To aspiring filmmakers - what it looks like when you truly love film: working 3 years for 6k a year on a film that isn’t guaranteed to make a nickel. Writer, director, editor, makeup fx, sound designer, approximately 4 hours sleep a night if you’re lucky. #terrifier2 #youcandoit

sometimes you watch a movie from just like 15 years ago and they have 100 actual people in a shot and you go "it's a shame this is impossible now. it's a shame they lost this technology, to hire 100 people to actually go be there and stand in the background"

People who have kids tend to write that they’re “the proud parents of” so-and-so in their bios, but you never see any that are like “...and she’s the mother of her 13-year-old son, Ben, who she’s kind of disappointed in...”

The next time you feel imposter syndrome rear its ugly head, embrace it. Instead of thinking ”I don’t belong here and they’re going to all find out I’m worthless,” try thinking “WOW I’M A REALLY GOOD IMPOSTER. WATCH ME BAMBOOZLE THESE CLUELESS BUFFOONS.” #PositiveThinking

Acting in a feature film is so weird, man. Nothing is chronological. One day you’re a dead body and the next day you’re drinking beer in a hot tub and then you change your clothes and suddenly you’re in high school again.

There’s that saying of “Dance like no one’s watching” but I think it would be better as “Dance like you’re an extra at a party scene and the music is going to be added in later anyway, so it doesn’t matter what you’re dancing like.”

It’s funny how all it takes is for one person to make a rude comment or be disrespectful for me to lose my entire sense of self worth and crumble into a gelatinous pile of crippling doubt that makes all of my insecurities come to life.

Small roles I’ve always wanted to play: -A nosy next door neighbor who abruptly closes blinds -A teacher who has the bell ring mid-sentence -A stormtrooper who manages to hit a Jedi, yells “I got one!” And then is shot -A detective whose entire scene takes place in a doorway

I don’t expect this to masterpiece to be appreciated in my lifetime! (tosses scarf, puts wet palette in purse (instantly regrets it), unicycles off into the sunrise while eating a flower) 🎨 https://t.co/xXuEf7z5M8
