I recently did some field work for the 1st time in >10 years. It wasn’t atmospheric field work, tho. My group was tapped to assess risk after an accidental lab explosion. Check out what we did and lessons learned. Consider using it in teaching… 🧵 https://t.co/GaE0BlFNtv

Frontier Restaurant. Everyone should check this out. An Albuquerque staple. Get a bowl of green chile stew, fresh tortillas, and sweet roll and drift into bliss. Hop on the bus. It’s fast from the convention center

Tucanos Brazilian grill. I haven’t been here in 20 years. It was considered “special occasion” restaurant when I was a kid. Went here once when I graduated high school and I thought it was the most amazing thing ever back then.

A lot of people have asked me about food options at #AAAR2024. Albuquerque is an incredible food city. You can find some of the best of whatever you want. Here are some options around the convention center:

Welcome to Albuquerque, AAAR! I’ve lived in this city for ~20 years (off and on), but this is the first time I’ve been in the convention center. I’m looking forward to a week of aerosol research! Catch my talk Tuesday afternoon about aerosol viscosity. Myself or lab members…
