Today I was doing an author talk at a middle school when a lockdown was called. I asked the girl nearest to me what to do. I explained that I'd never done a lockdown before. She looked at me in disbelief and said, "Did you grow up in America?"

#MidnightsTaylorSwift dropped. My daughter and I told ourselves that we would only sample a "couple" of tracks knowing full well we'd listen to the whole damn thing. So. Good. We'll be listening on repeat for the foreseeable future. Also, we'll be analyzing every song. As you do.

Today I got the incredible news that I passed my @aspireship SaaS Foundations final assessment. I am so excited to work with Aspireship and begin my new career in #SaaS #sales! Thank you @CoreyKossack, @jasonriedel, and @aspirechrisrog for creating an AMAZING program!

I started the @aspireship SaaS Sales Foundation course this afternoon, and I have already worked through the 1st section and a third of the 2nd section. I am learning a lot, and I think I might be able to see myself in #SaaS sales. This teacher is moving forward.

My first ever picture book comes out one week from today during another surge in the pandemic so I will be at home, praying someone sees this tweet and thinks, Oh! I must order that cute little song and dance book for a child I love immediately!

Parents absolutely get to decide what books their kids read or don’t, but their jurisdiction doesn’t extend to other people’s children. Our family (and many others) wants our kids/grandkids to read accurate history and the rich stories of ALL of humanity. Leave our kids alone.
