A piece written for the @ConversationCA on my new study on the change of precipitation in the Arctic .

New climate simulations show that there will be more rain and less snow falling in the Arctic by the end of the century, particularly in the fall and winter.

My new paper with @polar_james is finally published and using many, many models shows that there is no robust teleconnection in winter temperatures between ENSO and the Arctic (Barents and Kara Seas)
📰New paper on tropical 🐠 to Arctic 🐻❄️ teleconnections led by @Michelle_McCrys. We conclude that the observed correlation between ENSO and Arctic (Barents-Kara Sea) winter temperature is not robust, and may be fortuitous.
