📰New paper on tropical 🐠 to Arctic 🐻‍❄️ teleconnections led by @Michelle_McCrys. We conclude that the observed correlation between ENSO and Arctic (Barents-Kara Sea) winter temperature is not robust, and may be fortuitous.
