Supporting people with LD & autism who have some of the worst health outcomes of all of us and often experience great anxiety in encountering acute hospital care when they need it. Today is the start of Experience of Care Week. At NBT we care that all Patients & Carers have an outstanding experience. We work with over 470 Volunteers to help support patients. Here is a video of Olivia sharing what she does as a volunteer Patient and Carer Partner

Our first 100 #EasyRead leaflets are LIVE! They are free to download from our website and help people to understand a wide range of health treatments and issues. We are so proud of the team @LeedsHospitals who have developed these 🌟 Great to share these at the #WYLeder event!

For this week’s Meaningful Monday training, the NBT Learning Disability team visited the Medirooms dept. and provided teaching sessions as well as Q&A opportunity for the team regarding the services they provide. The LD team are “regular” trainers for our dept.😁
