After tinkering with the Gamepad API I've concluded it's not all there. Why isn't there a button down event listener like the key down listener? Polling works but doesn't feel as clean. On the plus side I can now use my Switch Pro Controller to switch slides on a demo app 😊.

If you Google "Cumulative Layout Shift," you'll get a neat example thanks to Google's new Generative AI. 🤦 I hate it, and it's not consistent when it provides an AI suggestion. The AI area should be a fixed size when it runs, and users can expand it to see more.
