A reminder for those with storm/tornado anxiety. Even on the highest risk days, the odds of having a direct impact with a tornado are still quite low. Tornadoes are very localized storm events. That said, it’s still important to pay attention and remain weather aware just in case

Of those, the 20 in Osage County is the most by any county in the state AND country!
Specific to our forecast area, Chautauqua Co, KS is second to Osage Co, but is tops in Kansas!
