A more general problem than even in social media. Objective, tentative positions do not resonate with the passionate, but they are often more accurate given the evidence.
If you write "I think" in posts, they will likely be less popular because it's less punchy and authoritative. Yet "I think" is key in constructive disagreement and persuasion—it signals intellectual humility and opens dialogue. Great example of social media's incentive problem.
