Much of this article, “Comparative Constitutional Inquiry: The North American Angle” by Ran Hirsch, reads as a political tract rather than legal scholarship. Very little effort to have a balanced approach.

While the statute says clearly that Fed Governors can only be fired for cause, the statute does not say that about the Chair. It is a quite reasonable position to conclude that the President can fire the Chair without cause (although it is by no means certain). The New York.

Can the President fire the Fed Chair without cause? The New York Times is stuck in its own bubble and therefore errs here. The short answer is that the question is not clear. 1/2.

to challenge the incumbents in existing parties who are furthest from the third party’s agenda. These two approaches would help to elect officials who promote the third party’s values in an effective rather than counterproductive way.

First, it would endorse the candidate in each election who is closest to the third party’s position. Second, it could support running a Democrat or Republican in primaries who have similar values to the third party 3/.

He can promote a different kind of third party – one that would advance the third party’s postion within the constraints of the two party system. That party would focus on two main strategies. 2/.

Elon Musk is seeking to start a third party, but in the American system, third parties are generally counterproductive, causing both the third party and the party closest to the third party’s values to lose. But if Musk wants to improve things, there is a better way. 1/.

A more general problem than even in social media. Objective, tentative positions do not resonate with the passionate, but they are often more accurate given the evidence.

If you write "I think" in posts, they will likely be less popular because it's less punchy and authoritative. Yet "I think" is key in constructive disagreement and persuasion—it signals intellectual humility and opens dialogue. Great example of social media's incentive problem.

1. Don't have enough time to read all of these Supreme Court opinions right away? You can use Google's NotebookLM to create a 20 minute podcast that will summarize the case for you. They are really quite good, and since they are only looking at the opinion, they are not biased.

OKC forced a lot of turnovers but they were not live ball turnovers and so they did not convert many of them into points. That was one of the big differences. #OKCThunder.
