A fitting tribute. I feel very fortunate to have sung with him last summer in Tippett's A Child of Our Time, a work that was dear to him, and to have experienced his great musicianship, his warmth and his joyous sense of humour first hand. May he rest in peace.
We are very sad to hear that the world-renowned conductor and former Glyndebourne Music Director Sir Andrew Davis has died. Davis’ fierce intelligence and uncompromising attention to detail were wrapped in a warmth and wit that made him much-loved with both audiences and artists

I'm so grateful to have been able to jump in at @Teatro_Real as Créon in Médée. What a score it is, and brought so brilliantly to life by Maestro Bolton. Thank you to Paco who achieved a miracle in a vanishingly short time, and to all my wonderful colleagues on and off stage!
