Do not even try the Michelob ultra pitch fest in NYC. The wait, with a reservation, has been two hours so far with no communication. Staff not sharing anything. #poorplanning @MichelobULTRA

Please make sure to also include the followup article I wrote on PEMDAS: https://t.co/Wh7rbGM4rc It discusses subtleties that I appreciated only after many readers weighed in on the first article. Thanks and good luck.

The confusion (likely intentional) boiled down to a discrepancy between the math rules used in grade school and in high school.

Temple Grandin has a piece in ⁦@TheAtlantic⁩ called “Against Algebra.” Since everyone is going to be discussing it in the next few days, I guess you should read it. It’s full of both interesting ideas and exasperatingly wrong ones.

If you wait until you feel ready to take on a new challenge, you might never pursue it at all. Few people wake up suddenly feeling prepared to lead or create. They become prepared by taking the leap anyway. Our greatest regrets are not our failures, but our failures to try.
