Oh I know this one… like how God used the Assyrians to bring judgement on Israel for Gods purposes even though the Assyrians didn’t plan to do it but He used them for His purpose? Then after He used the Assyrians as a tool to judge Israel He punished them for doing so? . Good.
@subq @Calvy_CoG God doesn’t always get what He desires because He allows us to choose Him or reject Him. He does this because He values the willingly obedient - not the forced or programmed. If all He wanted were robots He could have made some without the trouble of the cross.
