💙🖤 34 high school graduations so far. 11 as a sibling, 23 as an educator (to include summer school & 2 of those as sibling/educator). Yet, first one as MOM, and by far the most special...So proud of this amazing girl! Thank you, CVHS, for 4 amazing years! 💙🖤

☀️🏝💝 Earliest first day of school ever in my life/career. And the first week back w/ students & staff is complete. A lot of change & learning, yet such a great first week. Began each day with my Florida/Virginia coffee mug ☺️ & some pretty beautiful evenings as well! ☀️🏝💝

💕 Always need to focus on the simple, yet joyful moments. Most know my love of 👠. A month ago, this sweet student said, “Do you have a pair of pink polka dot heels?” I mean, of course I do. 😭 Finally remembered to wear them & we shared this special moment a few days ago! 💕

Bc sometimes you just gotta get into the 1 mile “fun” action with 7th grade PE @StonePanthers. 😳 25+ years later, my time is slower & that hill still killed me, but was great to be out there with the kids after hearing so much “we have to run the mile” the last few days! 😭

💕 Took a quick trip to @BullRunES today to meet our future @StonePanthers! 💙🖤🐾 On the way out, stopped by the gym to say a quick hello to Tyler, which turned into a quick mother/son ping-pong match! Thanks @BullRunPE1 for making my day and Tyler’s too! 😭💕

🏀 It was a day of b-ball, as a player & fan! You know this kid has missed HS b-ball games when he says earlier, “Mom, text Ms. @DSATowle to see if I should wear my black or white Wfield shirt😭” They were glad to see you @Westfield_bball & good luck the rest of the season! 🏀

💕 A great way to end the week w/ flowers, very thoughtful cards & an amazing video from our students & staff! Bonus was doing an impromptu Kool-aid taste test as part of 8th grade Science & our wonderful @ffxfirerescue first responders joined in too! Thank you @StonePanthers! 💕

❄️ So wonderful! ❤️ reading this student’s email about her 1st snow experience. She says, “It’s amazing. Sitting by the fireplace drinking hot chocolate. It is wonderful.” Grateful for this beautiful snowfall & for amazing students! ❄️
