On the sidelines of the AMM/PMC (11/7), held a fruitful meeting with UK Foreign Secretary @DavidLammy. We discussed maritime and defence industry cooperation, UK’s support for ASEAN-led mechanisms, and exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East

At the 15th East Asia Summit in Kuala Lumpur (11/7), I stressed that the EAS must be a voice of conscience amid rising global tensions. International law must be upheld consistently, and the Indo-Pacific shaped as an inclusive, peaceful, and prosperous region

Participated at the ASEAN-EU PMC (11/7). Emphasize that our economic potentials can only be unlocked through mutually beneficial and non-discriminatory policies. I invite ASEAN and the EU to continue working together towards a peaceful, fair, and prosperous world

Started the final day of 58th AMM/PMC with the ASEAN–UK PMC (11/7). A strong ASEAN–🇬🇧 partnership means deeper maritime cooperation, joint efforts against transnational crimes, & shared commitment to green growth. Upholding intl law is our common responsibility.

Concludes Day 3 of the AMM/PMC (10/7) by attending the 26th ASEAN Plus Three Meeting. APT should not only be a platform for crisis response, but a driver of long-term peace, prosperity, & resilience in our region. Food security must remain at the heart of our cooperation

Attended the ASEAN–New Zealand PMC (10/7). 🇮🇩 joined in marking 50 years of ASEAN–🇳🇿 partnership & underscored the importance of future-focused collaboration in the Indo-Pacific, incl on digital economy, blue economy, & regional integration
