I don't want to sound too scold-y but if you're still buying books from Amazon then this is something you should expect at this point
guys what is up with this “penguin 20th century classic?” looks totally normal (albeit a bit heavy and glossy) but paper and typeface are off, and a buried back page says it was made in coppell, tx YESTERDAY? is this just what amazon does now? spoof penguin classics?

Dungeon crawling is boring as sin tbh so I prefer this if nothing else
It does suck that D&D has become associated with this cozycore, Tumblresque, Stardew Valley ass visual aesthetic. There's no edge to this whatsoever, this doesn't make me want to go dungeon crawling or slay monsters. It just looks like an ad for a Cafe.

Fwiw I feel bad about tagging just one MP, her tweet defending it was the most popular that morning and I thought I'd bite back, but I didn't realise mine would get a million views. Looks a bit mean in hindsight.

Also, "British monarch" can cover a monarch who rules over Britain, and a monarch within Britain - although I don't know what the Scottish rulers were doing with regards to the Pope.

Interested in the type of person who seems to believe that there is a cover-up of the fact Scotland has no legitimate monarch since 1707(?)

I like how everybody just blames this on their own grievances. There has to be an actual study on this or something that offers answers.
It cannot be overstated how much the UK fumbled their soft power in the 2010s. One Direction, Blur & Oasis, David Beckham, James Bond, London Olympics, the NHS. People used to think the British accent was hot! Unthinkable today. All of it, down the drain in just a decade.

Found some film from the 1960s in one of my old cameras. Was expecting some exciting window into history or at least my family. This was the only picture that came out. Whatever man.

As a fan of Edward Hopper I couldn’t help but take this photo in Greenwich tonight.

I've had my own problems and feelings of being "stuck" recently, but meeting old secondary school friends was an interesting experience and showed just how little some people change and mature. It's quietly tragic watching a man going through the same motions as when he was 16.
met up with some secondary school friends recently it's horrifying how little some changed,, same haircut. exact same hobbies. same phone with the same phonecase. talked to me about the same things they do with the same friends finished uni and got a degree but, what else?

The question for a lot of Paradox fans is do you actually enjoy history and counterfactuals or do you want to feel like a big clever boy for painting the map
