Keep an eye out for my first book, 'Rule Breakers: How the 2024 election campaign changed South Africa forever'. Hitting bookshelves within next few days.
John Endres's very kind foreword to my first book, 'Rule Breakers: How the 2024 elections changed SA forever'. Off to the printers this week, my editor tells me. On sale within the next few weeks. Exciting and terrifying in equal measure.

It takes quite a bit of guts to criticise a non-racial policy as a continuation of apartheid whilst defending a policy based on the racial classification of the Population Registration Act of 1950 - the cornerstone law of the entire apartheid system.
The Black Business Council, a lobby group that represents the interests of black businesses and professionals, has slammed the gazetted bill of the DA aimed at replacing B-BBEE, labeling it a continuation of apartheid. https://t.co/nm71Lp2Isj

"I wouldn’t be surprised if they [the @MYANC] become a 15% party by 2035, I wouldn’t have said that five years ago," said @Meneer_Mann. Read more:
A policy meant to empower poorer Black South Africans has instead enriched elites connected to the ruling African National Congress, critics say, as support for the party dwindles

Used to think this man a sensible classical liberal. Oh, dear. "Use your brain," he says whilst showing 0 grasp of the socio-economic mobility of a merit-based, free-market society. The baby-bathwater line of identity-based empowerment is provably absurd:

“Broad-Based” Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) reduces being economically excluded to being black. Even if this unsupported and contentious position were true, B-BBEE would still be an inherently...

Poplap is such an annoying creature. Imagine being so trapped in your own little luvvy anti-intellectual bubble that you've smugly missed the free-market criticisms on Trump's control-economy idiocy. And worse, thinking you're making some edgy point... https://t.co/WLn8bfJOMI

Boy, people really don't understand freedom of speech.
@DanielJHannan Wrong kind of freedom of speech, eh?

The cognitive dissonance is astonishing.
So moving to visit the ‘Speak Their Name’ exhibition in Parliament. The beautiful quilts are created by families & friends in loving memory of someone they’ve lost to suicide. A powerful reminder of the need for continued work on suicide prevention: https://t.co/XvzgTadokI

Yeesh. Out of touch, much?
I think you're derranged when things don't go right politicians must be blamed even though most of the time they take responsibility even for things wich are not of their making (and is called accountability) , When is time to celebrate politicians must be isolated is that not

The fact is that all race-based empowerment policies like B-BBEE are conceptually misaligned with the real barriers to and engines of economic upliftment, argues @Meneer_Mann. Read more on @BizNewsCOM:

My nuutste vir @RapportSA: ‘Skrik wakker – ons krisis met korrupsie strek veel wyer as ’n paar vrot appels’
netwerk24.com
Suid-Afrikaners moet ophou om hulself aan die slaap te sus met die gevaarlike fabel dat die land se korrupsie-krisis deur blote strenger wetstoepassing opgelos kan word, skryf Hermann Pretorius.

Imagine SA has a constitutional right to free expression. Oh, wait. Not necessary to imagine it. You're free to spin rubbish about besmirchment, weird simping, and to pretend people are responsible for things they had nothing to do with. And I'm free to call you a dolt. Dolt.
Imagine thinking you can besmirch the legacy of a man who fought against the crime against humanity that your forefathers designed and implemented, and which your ilk sill simp for. Tone done and absolute cuntish behaviour.

I see the bots are out in full swing. The only thing the ANC and their minions have left is apartheid. This is what desperation looks like.

The interesting thing is that this is the first IRR poll ever to find a DA lead - and a very, very, very small one at that. DA 30,3%, ANC 29,7%. People really should read more before opining. Here's the full report:

@Martin_Nel_99 @ScholtzSusan @Our_DA @MYANC We know IRR is manned by former DA officials and sympathizers. Every election they always release these polls to try campaign for the DA, khohlwa

Imagine thinking you have the right to tell a person what they can say or think about a famous politician because of who the person's ancestors were or what they did. It's a bit of race essentialist arrogance that is becoming a popular refrain in racist circles around the world.
Mandela was not a brand. Keep his name out of your mouth if you are not going to bother acquainting yourself with his politics. The people whose ancestors imprisoned him, harassed his wife and children LOVE to design their cuddly granpa Mandela as if he was without unequivocal
