The great legend of ATV/ITV Football Hugh Johns sums up the game in the 1970s in 37 seconds. His words are bang on!
We were spoilt in the 70s, today's game doesn’t have the same appeal if we’re honest!

Sad to hear that another well known footballer from my youth has passed away today. Starting out with Bury & WBA, Eddie Colquhoun is best remembered for his excellent service for Sheffield United, the attached from my timeline are from 1971/2.
