Player #37. June 9th 1971 and Jocky Scott of Dundee makes his debut appearance for Scotland in a 1-0 loss to Denmark. Jocky's 2nd and final cap was won five days later v USSR. I don't have a photo of him in Scotland colours.

Player #36. June 9th 1971 and Tom Forsyth of Motherwell makes his debut appearance for Scotland in a 1-0 loss to Denmark. Tom was to win 22 caps (21 with Rangers) and played at the 1978 World Cup.

Player #35. May 18th 1971 and Frank Munro of Wolves makes his debut appearance for Scotland in a 1-0 loss to Northern Ireland. Frank was to win five caps in total and is seen here at Wembley a few days later.

Player #34. May 18th 1971 and Hugh Curran of Wolves makes his first appearance for Scotland in the 1970s in a 1-0 loss to Northern Ireland at Hampden. Hugh was winning his 2nd of five caps for Scotland.

Player #33. 15th May, 1971 and Eddie Gray, also of Leeds United makes his first appearance of the 1970's in a 0-0 draw with Wales on a mud soaked Ninian Park. Eddie was winning the 5th of his 12 caps .

Player #32. 15th May, 1971 and Peter Lorimer of Leeds makes his first appearance of the 1970's in a 0-0 draw with Wales on a mud soaked Ninian Park. Peter was winning the 2nd of his 21 caps .

Player #31. Finally on 15th May, 1971 Billy Bremner makes his first appearance of the 1970's in a 0-0 draw with Wales on a mud soaked Ninian Park. Billy was winning his 24th cap of his 54 total.

Player #30. April 21st 1971 and Drew Jarvie of Airdrie makes his debut appearance for Scotland in a 2-0 loss to Portugal. Drew won three caps for Scotland. Seen here with manager Bobby Brown. 30 different players used in 12 months says it all.

Player #29. April 21st 1971 and Davie Robb of Aberdeen makes his debut appearance for Scotland in a 2-0 loss to Portugal. Davie won five caps for Scotland. Seen here in an old washed out Scotland top which were regularly used in training.

Player #28. April 21st 1971 and Jim McCalliog of Wolves makes his first and only appearance for Scotland in the 1970's in a 2-0 loss to Portugal. Jim seen here with Ronnie Simpson at Wembley 1967 won 10 caps overall.

Player #27. April 21st 1971 and Willie Henderson of Rangers makes his first and only appearance for Scotland in the 1970's in a 2-0 loss to Portugal. Willie won 29 caps in total.

Player #26. April 21st 1971 and Jim Brogan of Celtic makes his debut appearance for Scotland in a 2-0 loss to Portugal. Jim won 4 caps overall and is seen below left with Frank McLintock & Bobby Clark prior to the match v Wales in May 1971.

Player #25. February 3rd 1971 and Jim Forrest of Aberdeen makes his first appearance for Scotland the 1970's in a 3-0 loss to Belgium. Jim was winning his third of five caps. Seen here much earlier v Italy in 1965.

Player #24. February 3rd 1971 and Tony Green of Blackpool makes his debut for Scotland in a 3-0 loss to Belgium. Tony won six caps as sadly injury meant his career was cut short.

Player #23. February 3rd 1971 and Charlie Cooke makes his first appearance for Scotland the 1970's in a 3-0 loss to Belgium. Charlie was winning the 14th of his 16 caps.

Player #22. February 3rd 1971 and Archie Gemmill of Derby County makes his debut for Scotland in a 3-0 loss to Belgium. Archie was to win 43 caps in total scoring 8 goals.

Player #21. Making his debut appearance for Scotland in the 1-0 victory over Denmark on November 11th, 1970 was Sandy Jardine of Rangers. Sandy was to win 38 caps in total.

Player #20. Making his first appearance for Scotland in the 1970's in the 1-0 victory over Denmark on November 11th, 1970 was Peter Cormack of Nottingham Forest. Peter was winning his fifth cap of nine. It was his first for Forest with his first four coming at Hibs.
