Officer Nestor Garcia was hit by a drunk driver going 60 MPH & it dragged his body along the SW Frwy! We started a prayer chain across the city. If he survived, he wasn’t expected to walk or talk again. HE’S NOW BACK AT WORK! 🙌🙏🏼

Wow, my new hero! We interviewed an Astros super-fan, visiting here from Houston. She was paralyzed while serving in the army, but she just completed the DC marathon on this hand bike. She hopes to finish marathons in 50 cities before her 50th birthday. She can’t wait for game 5!

My heart is laboring today. Had to say final farewells to our lil’ love, Maggie Mae. I’ll always remember her soft kisses, warm snuggles, her obsessions with food & trash (oh my!) & how she loved to chase lizards & squirrels. RIP my precious fur-baby.

Sigh of relief & lifting our hands high in praise, that my son Caleb just got another "clean bill of health"! 🙌 We delayed his check-up as long as possible b/c of the pandemic. Had to discuss POSSIBLE long-term effects of chemo but we continue to pray he'll be spared. 🙏

Packing up a lifetime of memories. We have spent most weekends in the metroplex, closing up my in-law's home, after losing them a few months ago. We discovered my MIL kept every letter or card we sent her. We knew she loved us deeply, but signs like that tell the whole story. ❤️

Wow, four years ago today was one of the best days of my life. Caleb's oncologist deemed him cancer-free & he rang that glorious bell after four long years of chemotherapy every day of the week. All of your positive thoughts & prayers have helped keep him that way. 🙏 Thank you!
