I have a crazy idea to start writing a book tomorrow. Just something short, maybe 20k. I can't tell you what it's about. because I have a crazy idea to just draw Tarot cards and wing it a chapter at a time. The experiment intrigues me more than what would come out.

Talking now how burnout has been an issue. In recent years many roles are covering for a lack of people and that creates strain. I'm hearing this a lot. .

I felt sad having to pay for a prescription today. It's not really the money. It's seeing almost every Labour change being pushed out of existence. And knowing it will be impossible to roll back any National ones.

At 39k, I have FINALLY reached the end of draft one of Fuzzyworld!. It's a mess, but editing should straighten out a lot.

As an autistic, I often reflect of how people have a magical ability to smile and nod about such things, while also accepting "that's never going to happen".

Watching some of the coronation. It's interesting to see an oath the King makes about standing against injustice and protecting the vulnerable. And reflect on just how very hypocritical it all seems.

So my mother's been in a bit of a bad way. You can tell I'm stressed about this - not in an obvious way. But I'm through the roof with my clumsiness - dropped close to two dozen things in the last 24 hours. This sucks.

Today started with my mother in hospital for heart problems, and the rest of the day, I've just not been able to focus. Waiting for news. .
