I’ve spent the last hour staring at this and not actually knowing what caption to write. I was five years old, sitting in a council estate, writing stories with those little blue pens you got for free from Argos. My book is now being published for the world to read. This is wild.

Festival of Education is going to be fun this year. I heard they have two amazing speakers.

You don’t have to eat halal. That’s YOUR CHOICE. But banning it means denying a whole community their dignity, their faith, and their equal place in society. That’s not the Britain I believe in.

If we really care about animals, we should ban factory farming, ban live exports, reform the entire meat industry. But just banning halal while ignoring all of this? Lol, please. That’s hypocrisy.
