Glad to see @AmCollSurgeons continuing to advocate on this issue. I'd encourage all physicians impacted by th @CMSGov "efficiency adjustment" to reach out to their representatives. @SurgeonsVoice is a super convenient way to do so. See link and flyer. https://t.co/dc17KSWUJl

Tell me you’re a vascular surgeon who spent 40 of the last 96 hours wearing lead… without telling me you’re a vascular surgeon… also didn’t have the energy to fight the dog for the heated blanket #betterergonomics

Great to collaborate with incredible team lead by Michael Barnett and Rene Karadakic using a novel method to identify surgical subspecialists based on procedural billing--identifying surgeons by what procedures they do and not only by what residency/fellowship they pursued.

From 2000 to 2021, the proportion of surgical subspecialists increased from 38% to 58% among over 70,000 surgeons, leading to a reduced procedural scope for generalist surgeons and causing geographic variations in access to specialized care. https://t.co/0jdX6eyTSA
