Frailty needs to be everyone’s business. The eFI, based on a deficit approach to frailty, is well validated across multiple clinical settings. This updated version will further enhance early detection with a view to intervening and improving frailty status.
The Electronic Frailty Index (eFI), published in our Journal Age and Ageing, is used across the NHS to identify and measure frailty. The updated eFI2 published in Age and Ageing further advances care for older people with frailty.
