The @EU_Commission invited @B_Gomes_ to present our project at the 'Innovative Palliative Care for People with Cancer' conference. EOLinPLACE results, showing a growing trend of home deaths, support key recommendations to invest in community-based #palliativecare @ERC_Research

Last Friday, @Mayradelalibera presented her research on Portuguese stakeholders' perspectives on places of #EoL care and death in Portugal at the #ACPC2024 Congress 🔥

So pleased to see this work out! 🤩 Much needed evidence showing a rise of home death during the pandemic across 23 countries, but in some of them before that too. More home support is needed. Thanks to @SilviaLopes30 for leading the work, and to @ERC_Research for funding it.
