Went to the doctor for surgical follow up yesterday--and everything is good! I feel amazing compared to before. He told me that my endo was some of the worst he'd ever seen as it had advanced up into the rest of my abdomen. "I can't even imagine how much pain you must have. 1/2.

I don't think we've fully grasped the implications of that Alabama Supreme Court ruling. If frozen fertilized eggs are human beings, then all abortion for any reason will be banned in Alabama, as will use of an IUD, which prevents implantation of a fertilized egg in the uterus.

Uh, I’ve known lots of students who want to become public defenders who’ve had significant difficulties after doing that first summer at a prosecutor’s office.
Examples: 1Ls, your summer job after 1L year doesn't matter. At all. No one will judge you for it. Everyone gets that you're applying for it soon after you arrive, and it's not a sign of merit or your true value in law. Do what you want.
