Why novices and experts aren't overwhelmed by choice, but intermediate learners are! https://t.co/22ZTXHlqIa I think this is why AI can be so overwhelming for the teachers who could benefit from it the most!

Great insights from @KristenDiCerbo and others at the DESE and @DigitalPromise webinar today. Could you link me to the ethical framework for AI and Ed you mentioned with the nine constructs? I'd love to do a similar analysis of likelihood x impact!

Great, actionable insights from @nnekamcgee & others at the DESE webinar. This is why we list EVERY 3rd party we use at @questionwellai and it's absolutely wild that others do not!

Why shouldn't you just let AI do all your work? Tell this AI what you've been assigned and it tells you what you could get out of learning it: conceptual connections, interdisciplinary connections, skills and competencies, & future connections. https://t.co/fHVIG8JznD Try it!

This is so cool!!! Everyone asking "what is the purpose" - remember there is such a thing as "art"! Not everything has to be a product and fit neatly into capitalism.
Introducing – Paragraphica! 📡📷 A camera that takes photos using location data. It describes the place you are at and then converts it into an AI-generated "photo". See more here: https://t.co/Oh2BZuhRcf or try to take your own photo here: https://t.co/w9UFjckiF2

We need to think of content as the perfect case studies / exemplars that teach something bigger! 😍 "the solution isn't the point in the classroom; the problem is."
We teach sorting in algorithms classes because it is a simple and easy to motivate EXAMPLE of different algorithms for accomplishing the same task. The solution isn't the point in the classroom. The problem is the point...

"How can we benefit from these new technologies without sacrificing these important relationships with our students?" I would go further to ask, "how can these technologies actually *enhance* our relationships with our students"! https://t.co/MUmUqB4dhp

So, do LLMs "just predict text"? Yes, but perhaps without with the "just" — the text they predict is abstract, and only indirectly written by humans. Humans sit at the base of a pyramid with several layers of AI above, and humans pretending to be AI somewhere in the middle.
