That’s not what I’m arguing. What I saying is that the physical act of intercourse is a human agency issue, anyone is capable of doing it (unlawful or not). However, voting is an intellectual imperative encompassing various considerations. The two comparisons are different.
Sex can have everlasting, life-changing consequences. Babies, incurable STDs, quitting school and even k!llings. Voting for a leader based on a wrong premise cannot cause HIV transmission. By the way, how many adults today vote based on funny things like ethnicity, history etc?.

Mr. Editor, The two issues are not mutually inclusive. Intercourse is merely a physical act (whether moral? different question). The act of choosing a right political choice encompasses much more intellectual and complex considerations which a sixteen year old doesn’t possess.
Leader Max… Namibia trusts 16-year-olds to consent to sex but doesn’t trust them to vote? If they’re “confused” about which leader can best serve them, imagine them deciding who to sleep with.

Throw this idea into the nearest bin. Teenagers are confused and can easily be influenced. Even I was confused as a teenager (even if I thought I was smart at the time). You just don’t have a grasp of the issues that time. Let’s move onto other important issues.
