Yes. Although Russia should not have invaded (as it severely worsened this war which began in 2014), it’s quite clear that the majority of people in Donbass (Donetsk and Lugansk) and Crimea want to be part of Russia, not Ukraine.
Let’s try this then: the will of the people who live in the Donbas & Crimea should decide whether they’re part of Russia or Ukraine.
