The comments here 🤯🤯 Dear General Public: -Yes, you can play at a high level on an ACL deficient (torn) knee. -No, not all ACL tears are painful. -This is also far more common than you think. Signed, Healthcare workers who actually work with ACL injuries

The goal of teaching should not be to help the students learn how to memorize and spit out information under academic pressure. The purpose of teaching is to inspire the desire for learning in them and make them able to think, understand, and question.

Osteoarthritis is a systemic problem, not just a "joint" problem. The illustration captures the complexity & multidimensional aetiology very well. https://t.co/Hf3z1ULbpy

This is so beautiful to see that safe spaces are able to be created in more places. As a gay male athletic trainer this means so much to me 🥹 way to go Seattle!!!

Seeing energy drinks at the lunch table of 7th graders is beyond concerning. No 7th grader let alone kid < 16 YO should be using energy drinks or pre-workouts... -As I have said in many presentations, videos, and articles… “using a pre workout for energy is like rearranging

We don’t ask pediatricians if they’re gonna “climb the ladder” into geriatrics, so why do we ask high school athletic trainers when they’re going to “level up” into college/pro sports? Athletes are athletes and they all deserve healthcare. There shouldn’t be a hierarchy.

I hear older ATs say that the "Masters program is killing our profession." And then in the very next breath they say that they are telling students interested in healthcare field to go to PT or PA school. Or basically anything but AT. The masters program isn't killing AT...

A lot of you are justifying going to NATA 2025 in Orlando when you can’t get arrested and charged with a jail sentence but your colleagues can. Your privilege is showing and the fact that your national org cares more about losing money than taking a stance for their members and

The bill is HB1521. It says that if a trans person is in the bathroom of their gender at the same time as a cis person, they can be arrested and charged, with a 1 year jail sentence. It applies to public owned or leased bathrooms, which is actually a LARGE list. See some here:

I will not be going to NATA 2025 both as an openly gay AT as well as to support my colleagues who are even at greater risk than myself. I wholeheartedly appreciate those of you that are taking a stand!
