The latest batch of votes are in, and we are WAY up in #LD4! I am so grateful you have re-hired me as your state representative with wide support across our community. I’ll continue working for YOU! On this campaign, we talked about common sense — we didn’t sling mud. I can’t

Investing in helping students improve their reading, writing, and math instead of a domed stadium seems like…common sense. Thanks for flagging. Cc: @FordHatchett @brahmresnik @MelissaBlasius
A recent @CSInstituteAZ study shows that school districts who can’t compete on performance or culture are using taxpayer dollars to build new facilities like this in an attempt to attract families back to their declining schools. Students and the state would be far better off if

🚨 ATTN. New Jersey: MIKIE SHERRILL… - Refuses to commit that she won’t raise New Jersey’s sales tax. - Her plan will “cost you an arm and a leg, but if you’re a good person, YOU’LL DO IT.” As Governor, Mikie Sherrill will make YOU PAY! Vote AGAINST her on 11/4.

Unreal. An $80 million domed stadium while under a state audit. This is not vision. It is vanity at taxpayer expense. Meanwhile other districts struggle to secure funds for desperately needed classrooms.
Superintendent Jeremy Calles confirms his Tolleson Union High School District plans to build $80 million domed stadium for football w 2028 opening. Voters OK'd spending in past bond issue (tho may not have known it). Re new state audit: "I have nothing to hide."

Tolleson super Calles can’t help himself. Wow a high school building an $80Million domed stadium. All while student scores plummet.

More reasons why the Joint Legislative Audit Committee UNANIMOUSLY ordered a special audit of Tolleson Union High School!
Republicans and Democrats on the #AZLeg Joint Legislative Audit Committee unanimously ordered a special audit of Tolleson Union High. We talked to Rep. @MatthewGress about what happens next. Watch the FULL segment on the @KTAR923 YouTube Page.

This is the best encapsulation of Hobbs’s legacy yet. Her feckless financial leadership has created hard times for so many Arizonans. We’d be in worse shape without a Republican Legislature vetoing her bad ideas.
This dishonesty isn’t surprising given the current struggles on the 9th floor. When I left office, I turned over a $2.5B SURPLUS to Katie Hobbs. She blew it all AND created that $1.4B deficit in only a year. AZ didn’t have a revenue problem, Hobbs had a spending problem.

We need legislation to hold unelected bureaucrats accountable with school finances.
TODAY Tolleson Union Superintendent Jeremy Calles was no-show at leg hearing that ordered special district audit on bipartisan vote. Instead, Calles sent process server to hand @MatthewGress a $150K notice of defamation claim in House of Representatives hallway.

What is happening in the Tolleson Union High School District is unacceptable. When one district ignores oversight and accountability, it doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It undermines every other district that is doing things the right way, and it is the kids who pay the price.

Legislative District 4 Republicans stand behind Rep. @MatthewGress in his pursuit for transparency with @TollesonUhsd
A public records clash is brewing between lawmakers and Tolleson Union High School District. Rep. @MatthewGress (R–LD4) requested 2 years of financial data, but the district refused to share electronic files and demanded $26K for hard copies fees Gress says are meant to deter

We were honored to attend the Foundation for Blind Children’s “Night For Sight” to raise money for an organization that has had a transformational impact in lives of so many people, like Aurora, with vision impairment. Because of FBC, she CAN do anything!

Honored to join a panel on how we can truly get people off the streets—and keep them off. Right now, too many providers are flying blind. Without measuring real outcomes, streets get worse and lives are lost. The path forward is clear: ✅ Collect data that shows what’s working

I want to congratulate David Schweikert on a long and distinguished career in the United States Congress. The GOP majority in the U.S. House, and by extension the success of President Trump’s agenda that Arizonans overwhelmingly support, depends on Republicans maintaining #AZ01.
Shake-up in the Arizona governor's race: @DavidSchweikert is running, joins @andybiggs4az and @KTaylorRobson in the Republican primary.

I just spent the day visiting Tucson’s homeless encampments. This is a pure and unmitigated human disaster. Things must change or more people will die.
