Almost through the whole series now. even after making games for 15 years there's a lot I've learned watching it. maybe the thing that stands out to me most is the difference between mentorship and leadership, and we call people leads when we really usually need more mentors
halfway through watching the psychodyssey doublefine doc and genuinely imo every game dev school program should be doing a class on it. it's the realest look into what a multi-year game dev project looks like and what actual problems that come up in dev look and feel like.

Anyone have a recommendation for on-ear #ps5 #headphones? I dont like over ear or in ear because they are isolating and I have small kids so I need to be able to hear while not bothering my partner… suggestions?

As finally able to get ahold of a ps5 and am absolutely in love with @Housemarque’s Returnal. A couple rough edges when it comes to knowing where enemies are, but the atmosphere is affecting in a way I haven’t felt in a really long time. Fun weapons, cool world, great job!

Fuck all of this. There’s no potion we can drink to get guns off the streets or make white boys more mentally fit or erase the hatred that causes shootings, but we can at least fucking try. The columbine generation are the adults now and we should fucking act like it.
